We all know this type of cut in capacity will cause fares to skyrocket. Most of us at some point rely on air travel to get around...does this type of activity affect your plans?

Yes... it affects me. They're killing me. Pretty soon I'm going to have to pay for 4 tickets when my daughter turns 2. I won't be able to go anywhere.
H3ll, I fly between AL and TX once a month...if I dont get tix in advance, I am spending $300...this mess is tough, but the price is better than what it would cost to drive.
Yeah you right about that. I usually try to get on Southwest as soon as they post that month and get my tickets. If not, I'm searching through all the other sites looking for a deal. Though the airline tickets are sky rocketing, overall it's more cost efficient than driving. You save time most importantly, and I'll spend an extra $50.00 for some peace of mind.
Yes. I will never pack another bag again. I will pile on all of the clothes I intend to take with me on my trip in layers on my body, and Fed Ex my cosmetics to my final destination. Then I will hold up the security line for 2 hours because you have to get dang near naked to pass through the gate. These folks are getting ridiculous!

I'm over here cracking up at my desk imagining someone do that ish. I think it would definitely send a message, not sure if it would be the message you would like though. Some may think you CRAZY and others may actually get the point, that you should not be charged to check a bag when you flying. Like Michael Irvin said, that's just like going to a restaurant and they charge you for the silverware and the plate. Those are basic necessities you need; how the ell I'm supposed to travel with no luggage. Crazy folk, but we're going to pay that because it beats piling in a car and driving for 10+ hours.
