I,myself, couldn't get with it. If I can't afford to drive, I'll just sit at the house. It would never be that serious for me.
But gas is ridiculously expensive. And she can't be a routine prostitute, because i have never known any of them to have a need for a gas card, being that their pimps got them from point A to point B. So she must be desperate, just trying to make ends meet.
Yeah man. i think back to the 90's when i started driving and i NEVER, EVER complained about gas (parents made me buy my own..only way i could have a car). In 2001 i had a 4 hour daily (2 hrs to work, 2 hrs home) commute to my internship and it didnt phase me at all cause i could still fill up with $11. Now, i refuse to leave even on holidays because of it! I wish i had been within earshot of that $100 gas card transaction...i might have had to put my ski mask on.
Gas for ASS will be the new career of choice.
For us to drive places now there has to be a need for at least 2 stops. If it’s only 1 stop then we’ll stay at the house. We used to go to Dallas a lot. All of that has stopped.
Something has to give because groceries are too high also. No matter what I get I always spend at least $40 at the store. And it’s not even big stuff. I can’t see how people making minimum wage are making it.
We’re hesitant to drive home back to BR. Everybody keeps asking us when we are coming and we say gas is too high. What used to be around a $40 one-way trip is now at a minimum of $120.
U said EVERYTHING I was going to say Sweet Nupe...I was thinking about flying to the crib this weekend versus driving..a Flight was $251.50 and I figured with 4 Fill-ups (only for a round-trip and no extra stops) would cost me around $220 on my lil 16 gallon tank! So I decided to stay here! LOL And I sad the EXACT same thing to a friend yesterday...I was in Walmart...bought a small pack of diapers, some paper Towels, paper plates, cups, some ground beef, milk, bread, and a Soda and my total was $44 freakin Bucks!!!
Man I go to Walmart with my lil list out and I still can never come out of there spending under 40bucks! Groceries are high!! And don't get me started on gas! I was going to the Bluff this weekend but we cancled at the last minute. Snicas are broke these days, lol
When's the last time somebody just went ridding?!! Bleeding the Block as we call it,lol
Bleeding the block will bleed your pockets. I need a purpose to drive.
