The Anit-BET

As long as Silk-Shocker stays in his hole and NEVER resurfaces via his brothers new idea for a channel I think it could be cool. As a measure of caution i move that he have his vocal chords removed, bronzed, and strung from a rear view.

Master P, now known as P. Miller wants to show blacks in a better light:

Percy Miller (formerly Master P) announces the launch of Better Black Television (BBTV) a family friendly network that will provide positive content for a black and brown culture that will appeal to all races with a goal to bring people of color a choice when turning on their television. The content on the channel will contain a wide arrangement from health and fitness, animation, financial planning, reality TV, sitcoms, dramas, movies, responsible hip-hop music and videos, politics, sports and entertainment news, educational children’s shows as well as teen and family programming.

Better Black Television is the brainchild and passion of some of the most diverse, powerful, celebrated entertainers, influentials and trendsetters from the Television, Film, Professional Sports, Corporate America and Music industries. These visionaries all share the common goal of enhancing the current television landscape for this highly coveted demographic currently monopolized by only a few significant providers, with fresh, innovative, uplifting and above all family-friendly entertainment.

Good for Percy…

This is great is they do it right. They could leave off the videos though. It seems like everything we do has to have music associated with it.

BINGO!!! But I can't lie.. I HATE THE NAME!!!!!!! Come up with something a lil catchier P! Dam!!! Anyway, I think it's a good idea, I just hope they follow the exact opposite programming guide from BET and don't rely on TV Ones format either...we need to pay attention to an ABC or NBC and bite that format! I don't think everything has to be all positive and shish, on the other hand, I don't want it overly thugg-ed out! They should play programming to all Ages and classes! We especially need a serious news program and maybe a pundit or 2 to break down the daily headlines...we don't need to show anymore dayum videos period..that's what got us in this predicament in the first place!!!
