He's a liar! Former Presidential candidate John Edwards has admitted to lying about having an extramarital affair with a former staffer.In an interview with ABC's "Nightline" that airs tonight, Edwards admits he had a sexual affair with 44-year-old Rielle Hunter, but claims he did not love her.
Edwards does say, however, that he knows he is not the baby daddy of Hunter's little girl based on the "timing" of the kid's birth in February of this year. He claims the tryst ended too soon for him to be the dad, although he has not taken a paternity test.

It seems in politics you are either sleeping with other women or men...and they have the nerves to say folks need to get their lives in order.
See stuff like this doesn’t change my view or vote. It's really between him and his family. If we think that politicians, athletes or famous folks live perfect lives then we are sadly mistaken.
Integrity my friend. Had beat on the low and the wife found out and they worked it out it's cool. But when it went public he still lied about it. I think that's what the big deal is. On top of that..it was super careless to do that right when you know you're about to go out and try to run a nation! Not very smart!
Totally agree SLA! You can't campaign for president knowing you got those skeletons...recent skeletons I might add...in your closet! I don't expect him to be perfect, but we don't need another president that lies to us...granted lies to protect your family from humiliation and prevent divorce is quite a bit different than lying us into a war!!!
FYI: Republicans are overwhelmingly the ones who cheat on their wives WITH OTHER MEN!!!!!!!!

If that's the case then nobody could campaign or run for the pres.Everybody has skeletons, all of them lie. Yea he used bad judgement, and he wife wasn't giving him "none" either,lol.Cut the man some slack. There's know difference between Clinton's lie and Bush's lie...a lie is a lie.
How in the heck could you possibly know whether or not his wife was giving him some? lol. Whether she was or wasnt he still lied about it, perhaps what's worse is he did ONLY MONTHS before he started campaigning for president! I could understand if the story was "Breaking News: John Edwards cheated on his wife in 1982 and smoked a little weed too" but no...he did it a few months before. The way he got caught was he was leaving the hotel coming from his jump-offs room! And this was just a few weeks ago.I could care less what they do in their personal lives, just don't lie about it when it hits the fan. We're not saying a lie is not a lie, we jump on Bush almost tri-monthly for his lies.. this was just the latest lie told by Mr. Bible Belt himself even after being caught in the act! I just hope there are no snap shots of Obama leaving Uncle Luke's mansion.
