I know this is a personal choice and some folks a BS was enough ...because you don't wanna put up with BS. But most of the folks i fugg with has at least a BS and some grad course or plan at some point to do there thizzle. My engineering VP has the following - BSEE, MSEE, MS Info Asurrance, MS Computer Engineering and MBA........that is 4 masters.
I was soo shocked that I mentioned ...wow you gotta a lot of degress....she stated why not ...the company paid for them and the msee/mba and MSCpE & MS info asurance were double programs.....and she said it keeps from having to pay student loans.
Do You consider this obsessive or throwed/crazy or shut the fugg up Snake-handles

3 is enough for me. I'll never go back to get another degree but I don't mind taking classes sometimes. You have to keep your skills up to keep a job in this day and age. Another question is if she is using them. I'm not using any of my degrees right now.
I would think she is using the MBA...the MSEE and MSCpE...I would think she tailored those to info assurance and the info assurance was a given....I forgot to mention she is the VP of Secure communications...so hopefully it helps....Sweeeeeeeet NUPE..(just wanted to do that) ....I would challenge u to really consider using those degrees...outside on LM ....based on my post LM experience it will be long ruff and rugged...but you don't gring u don't shine...you could be a PM Right now...with those credintals(sp)...i dunno what your long term/short term goals are ...big sheit poppin...lil sheit stoping
Two is enough for me but, to each is his own. Sure if it's free and you've got the time...why not. Like sweet nupe, I'll always take classes but, I'm officially done.
You're right snake... I'm wasting away over here. I don't mind grinding to get ahead. I've gotten relaxed over here but I'm getting my motivation back. I don't want to be stuck where I'm at right now for the rest of my life.
the 3rd attempt wasn't much of a charm. If it's free, interesting and I have the time, may try again to get ahead. But right now, officially done also.
I might have to go back just to stay in the know. It seems in defense, if u arent working on some cutting edge stuff; technology leaves u behind. Got to keep up somehow.
Yep, that's why I'm thinking about taking some classes at UTA. If I stay in software and look at other positions then my skill set is severely lacking the newer technologies.
